Lady: Currently in foster care so she can learn more basic skills!
Meet our lovely little Lady!
She is a small Coonhound with a lot to say which is typical for her breed. We estimate that she is around five or six years old and around 20kg. We think Lady will do best in a female only home with lots of dog experience. She tends to be scared of some men and will run the other way, so having a fenced yard is needed. She is still learning basic commands and getting used to asking to go outside for the bathroom. Lady walks very well on lead and loves to follow her nose; we currently walk her on a marginal collar. Lady likes to be with her people and will follow you around. She is a bit shy around dogs at first especially ones larger than her. It would be beneficial to have another dog in the house as well as we notice she becomes more relaxed seeing what another dog is doing. Lady deserves a good chance of a happy home that can put in the effort for her to grow and learn.


Little Lady’s adoption fee is $350 and she will be spayed May 17th, microchipped, dewormed, deflead, and vaccinated. She comes with a Welcome Package from VCA Island Vet as well as six weeks of free pet insurance from Petsecure.
